astudio once again looking forward through a spiritual building design. Located in front of the Muhammadiyah University in Malang, a great mosque rises. From the City of Batu, towards Malang we can see this white building stands in the blue sky.
A minaret as the vocal point of the entire mosque. Pointing to the sky.
The main entrance area to the mosque. Can be seen here adopting Mediterranean style, including Arab, Greece and Egypt.
Using rhythm as harmony, the lines of columns combined with the roof as a shelter of the building as a part of tropical architecture.
The facade from front side of the mosque. Seems quite glorious to attract us when passing through the street in front of it. This is because this mosque has a blue and free sky as background.
A side view of the left side of the building. Watch the arch details as the character of the mosque.
The main entrance seen from a side showing its strong character influenced by Middle East and Mediterranean architecture. Mostly, there's a strong Greece and Egypt influence.
