In Indonesia, and in some countries in the world, in the context of urban housing, problems to be solved by architects are varied, in which the way to deal with these problems could also be varied between different architect. Houses in the urban area needs complicated thoughts due to infrastructure and life system inside the city, which sometimes are no longer enough to support the city. Giving advices to urban houses design and prepare new urban cities is an important thing to do right now.

One of the most crucial problem that an urban city has to deal with is the lack of city planning and the crosswires of needs that often causes urban chaos (the price to pay for the chaos are; unnecessary accidents). The arrangement of the city could have been done, unfortunately the implementation is not good enough because the human organisation is not supporting.

Oftenly found, life systems and life supporters or the environment around the dwellings are not capable enough to facilitate a healthy dwelling, which can be caused by;

Infrastructure of the urban area are not well planned (many systems like transportation, electrical cables, water, land use, irrigation, etc)

The environmental social life around the dwellings are not giving positive impact to the dwellings

The unexistence of healthy dwelling assets like clean air, clean water

Urban cities, wheter it has became urban or new urban ciies need specific dwelling designs that gives efficiency and the comfort of life (this is subjective). If in an urban city there is none or rare anymore to be found the possibility to create proper dwelling, it might be needed to think abput the possibility to create better urban cities.

Architects do not bear the responsible of people's financial problems, but architects have the responsibility of designs due to people's finance. For architects, answering the challenge to produce designs that benefit the users, natural resources and the environment are the burden of the profession.

Mostly because of the lack of site space (or because of financial problems, or both), architects are trapped on the reality that he has to use limited space to contain as many rooms needed by users as possible. Healthy house facilities should always be considered.

But if the opposite condition happens (there's no limitation), wide space of site and sufficient fund might bring interesting possibilites from design exploration, because architect will have more choices. BUt it doesn't mean that it gives us the choice to design dwelling with unneeded spaces and waste natural sources. The beauty of design won't mean only by the scale of the building or the style of it. Big dwelling building with too many rooms and unneeded spaces are temptations, and not a useful thing, for the users, for the amount of natural resources, and for the environment. In the case of sufficient land space and fund in the urban areas, we can take the choice to create environmentaly friendly dwellings. The beauty of dwellings can also be mean the beauty of relationship between nature and the environment. By taking spaces for rooms to contain the needs of the users to be used normally, the rest of the site could be used to connect the users of the house more to nature and environment.
