Rumah di Australia ini memiliki tipikal rumah yang agak sama dengan di Indonesia, mengingat barangkali dengan letak geografis yang berdekatan dan kemungkinan pengaruh yang besar dari arsitektur dari wilayah Mediterania. Didesain oleh "CplusC Architects and Builders" arsitektur rumah ini banyak menggunakan unsur tembok, kayu dan jendela-jendela jalusi seperti layaknya rumah tropis. Bagian depan rumah memiliki teras dengan atap yang menjorok, dan tangganya dibuat dari kayu.

Via Contemporist. This house in Australia is a typical house that has a somewhat similar with type of houses in Indonesia, perhaps by the given geographical location with the adjacent and possibly large influence of Mediterranean architecture. Designed by "CplusC Architects and Builders" architecture of this house uses much wood elements for the wall, and jalousie windows like a tropical house. The facade of the house has a roof terrace with a bay, and the stairs made of wood.

Di bagian atas yaitu di bawah atap terlihat kesan kisi kayu yang transparan dengan penggunaan kaca jendela buram. Penggunaan jendela jalusi juga menegaskan kesan terbuka pada alam sekitar yang merupakan ciri arsitektur tropis. Adanya teras di bagian belakang tentunya merupakan bagian yang sangat indah dari rumah ini, berbatasan dengan kolam yang segar.

Penggunaan kayu yang semakin langka sebagai elemen eksterior yang diekspos barangkali merupakan langkah yang tepat sehingga kayu bisa menjadi elemen kuat dari rumah yang tidak tersembunyi, tapi muncul karakternya. Hal ini karena kayu akan semakin mahal dan langka.
